MATLAB: How to define a single row in a vector

I have a vector with 11 rows and i want to extract row nr 6, i cant figure out how, and btw i'm new to the software.

A(6,:)

w = 2;
N = 10; % N value may be anything as the length u need..
for i = 1 : N
    out(i)=[w+i];
end

Try this:

b = [a(1:2), 5, 8, a(4:end)]
