MATLAB: How to copy a figure to the clipboard in vectorial format on MAC in MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a)

I would like to copy-paste a figure to Word on MAC.
It works but the image I get is a bitmap, I want a vectorial image.

The ability to copy a figure to the clipboard in vectorial formats not available on Mac platforms in MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a).
To work around this issue, you can export the figure to a vectorial format file using the "save as" option from the figure menu "File>Save as..." and choosing a vectorial format such as EPS for example.
