MATLAB: How to communicate with an instrument from unsupported vendor Stanford Research Systems via USB

Question

I want to record the data from a binary gas analyses (BGA244) by Stanford Research Systems, but since this vendor is not supported by instrument control toolbox i am unable to set up the connection. Any solution would be helpful. Thanks Vibbhav Mittal

I find in the documentation for that device that uses FTDI interfaces that support VCP and D2XX drivers. The VCP option is probably easier.
