MATLAB: How to change range of slider (GUI)

Hi,

I tried to change the min and max value of the slider (0 and 1) as min=61 max=250 by UICONTROL but matlab does not let me to do it. It gives me warning. How can I fix that?

Then try using set():

set(handleToSlider, 'min', 61);
set(handleToSlider, 'max', 250);
set(handleToSlider, 'Value', 100); % Somewhere between max and min.

You can make up your own range in the slider callback with myMin and myMax that is different than the min and max property of the slider:

sliderValue = get(handles.slider1, 'Value');
if sliderValue > myMax
  sliderValue = myMax;

Sure. Just use GUIDE (see Doug Hull's blog on it) and place a slider on the figure. Then double click it and set the min and max property. Make sure you set the value to be between min and max or it will not display the slider when you run it.
