MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a) supports using Intel® Visual Fortran versions 9.1 and 10.1. Intel is now selling Intel® Visual Fortran 11.1. How can I use Intel® Visual Fortran version 11.1 to build MEX files for use with MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a)?

Getting MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a) to recognize Intel® Visual Fortran version 11.1 is beyond the limits of Technical Support.
Since MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a) does not support Intel® Visual Fortran 11.1, we recommend using 10.1 version of the Intel® Visual Fortran compiler.
