MATLAB: Help with “Make error” in simulink

make errorsimulinkwindows 7 64bit

I have windows 7 64bit and Matlab7.12.0(R2011a). i am trying to run 'matlab embedded function". i have downloaded and installed. 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express' And 'Windows SDK 7.1'. But its still giving the "make error". can u pls tell me wat is wrong and how to fix it??

have you chosen your compiler by

mex -setup

You need to install a compiler (if you have not already) and use

mex -setup

MATLAB: Windows 7 (54) MATLAB 2017a: installing MinGW, .NET Framework SDK 4 and Microsoft Windows SDK 7.1 for use with mex and cpp

If UAC (User Account Control) is turned on Windows 7, the MinGW support package might say success, but the compiler may not be there and mex won't find it. The reason for this is that xcopy silently fails due to UAC being turned on.

Resolution is to turn off UAC. Please follow the below link to turn off UAC:

Try to reinstall MingW compiler and see if it works.
