friends, I want to know the program lines behind "peopleDetector" and also how each property affects the output(in terms of mathematical derivations). I also want to know the code behind peopleDetector which has SVM into it.Along with this if peopleDetector is trained, I want to know the images or parameters with which it is trained. can anyone please tell me where to get the code? thanks in advance.

Have you tried changing the peopledetector properties? For example, you get a result just changing the model:

peopleDetector = vision.PeopleDetector('ClassificationModel','UprightPeople_96x48');

[bboxes,scores] = step(peopleDetector,I);
bboxes =
   103    66    73   125
