That is not possible in MATLAB, not at the time of input.
Whatis possible is displaying text to the command window with some of it being bold and some of it not. To do that usecprintf() from the File Exchange. That is, after you got the inputs from the user, you could redisplay the prompts and associated input.
Note: cprintf() is not suitable for writing to files, only to the command window. And if your goal is to use the "publish" function then I suspect it is not an appropriate solution.
Go to your 'Home' tab in the lint and click the preferences button. There you will find all available settings. You will need to remove the 'use system settings' checkbox to be able to change the text and background color in the 'Colors' tab.
