MATLAB: Extrapolation a point outside a surface

Hello. I have a surface and a point outside of it, that have X and Y coordinates. How can I extrapolate Z-value of this point, base on my surface? Surface can be plot as on the image or using points.

Ok. if you insist on doing this extrapolation down to an arbitrarily virtually random value at x = 9, then use a tool that can do it in style, and will have the properties you desire for that curve. My SLM tools will do exactly what you need.
