MATLAB: Error using imtranslate>parseInput

imtranslate

I had a eye thickness scanning picture,I need to shift the center, therefore I had to use imtranslate. However I had an issue on this. It return Error using imtranslate>parseInputs (line 427) The value of 'A' is invalid. Expected A to be finite.

Error in imtranslate (line 131) [A,translation,method,outputView,fillValues] = parseInputs(varargin{:});

When I try other image matrix, it didn't happen. The eye thickness image is a double matrix.

Some of your data is -inf or +inf or nan.

It would be much better if you shared your image. Anyway, probably imtranslate doesn't return black image, the blackness comes from your original image(I mean some parts are black) and you just take the indexes where the blackness occur when trying to bound the imtranslate. You said you want to place the origin at the center so if you don't want to save the image data you may use this.

MATLAB: Points in image disappear when using imtranslate()

Is your drawing window at least 601 pixels wide? If not then MATLAB needs to resize the image to fit the window, and when that is done, fine details could disappear.
