MATLAB: Does xPC Target 2.5 (R14) and later support the Watcom C/C++ Version 10.6 compiler

In the documentation accessed by typing the following at the MATLAB 7.0 (R14) prompt:
web([docroot,'/toolbox/xpc/ch_introduction2.html#41322'])
it is stated in the software requirements that xPC Target 2.5 (R14) supports the Watcom C/C++ Version 10.6 compiler. However, when attempting to use this version of the Watcom compiler with Real-Time Workshop and xPC Target, I receive the following error:
Error(F38): (C:\MATLAB7\toolbox\dspblks\lib\win32\dsp_rt_watc106.lib) does not exist and cannot be made from existing files
Error(E02): Make execution terminated

This change has been incorporated into the documentation in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous releases, read below for any additional information:
We have verified that there is a bug in the xPC Target and xPC TargetBox documentation regarding software requirements for xPC Target 2.5 (R14) and later.
Note that only the following compilers are supported in xPC Target 2.5 (R14) and later:
  • Watcom C/C++ compiler (Version 11.0)
  • Microsoft Visual C/C++ compiler (Version 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0)
