MATLAB: Does the text in the “Replace” field of the “Find and Replace” dialog in the MATLAB Editor remain unhighlighted in MATLAB 7.0.4 (R14SP2)

Question

I do the following steps:

1- Click on the Edit tab in the MATLAB Editor.

2- Click on the "Find and Replace" field

3- Press the "Tab" key in the "Find" field

I expect the word in the "Replace" field to get highlighted.

This enhancement will make it easier to replace the word typed in the "Replace" field. Currently, the cursor blinks at the end of a word in the "Replace" field.

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2006a (R2006a). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

We have verified that this feature is not vailable in MATLAB. This request is being considered for future releases of MATLAB.
