MATLAB: Does the older (5.3.x) version of Page Setup dialog box appear in MATLAB 6.x, when printing to an HP 4550N PCL6 color Laserjet

Why does the older (5.3.x) version of Page Setup dialog box appear in MATLAB 6.x, when printing to an HP 4550N color Laserjet printer?

In MATLAB 6.1, when I attempt to print with the standard PCL6 driver, I see the version of the Page Setup dialog that appeared in MATLAB 5.3. If I attempt to use a postscript driver when printing, I see the new, tabbed dialog.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 2 (R14SP2). For previous releases, please read below for any possible workarounds:
