I am using some of the GUI tools in the Image Processing Toolbox on a machine which has been set to use the Japanese language. I am trying to use the "Delete" key to remove control points that I have created, but it has no effect. I can observe this behavior in the following three functions: GETLINE, GETPTS, and ROIDEMO.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
We have verified that there is a bug in MATLAB 7.0.2 (R14SP2) that affects the way it handles input from the "Delete" key on Japanese machines. This bug manifests itself in the Image Processing Toolbox 5.0.2 (R14SP2) while trying to delete control points in the interactive functions, GETLINE, GETPTS, and ROIDEMO.
To work around this issue, you can use the "Backspace" key. In all three functions, the "Backspace" key will perform the same function as the "Delete" key.
