MATLAB: Does the Command window always scroll to the bottom when switching focus between windows in the Desktop in MATLAB 7.0 (R14)

commandcursoreditorMATLABscrollwindow

I have both my Command and Editor windows docked in the Desktop. I scroll up the Command Window to a certain position. I notice that if I now switch the focus to the Editor window by clicking on it, the Command Window scrolls to the bottom. I would like to be able to see the part of the Command Window that I had scrolled up to while I edit my file in the Editor.

This bug has been fixed in MATLAB 7.0.4 (R14SP2). For previous releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
In order to maintain the scroll position of your Command window when you switch focus to the Editor window, you can double click any word in the Command window so as to highlight it before you click on the Editor window.
