MATLAB: Does MATLAB 7.8 (R2009a) support import of Illumina micro-array data

I am working with microRNA array data using Illumina software. Is it possible to import this data into MATLAB 7.8 (R2009a)?

Bioinformatics Toolbox 3.3 available with MATLAB 7.8 (R2009a) does provide an ability to read Illumina microRNA array annotation and data files. In particular, the Bioinformatics Toolbox 3.3 has functions like ILMNBSREAD and ILMNBSLOOKUP that can be used for reading gene expression data exported from Illumina BeadStudio software and look up Illumina BeadStudio target (probe) sequence.

This has been verified as an error within the documentation for Bioinformatics Toolbox 1.1.1 (R14SP1) for the CLEAVE command. The peptide pattern '[KR][^P]' for Trypsin fails to cleave when cleavage sites K and R are next to each other. The workaround is to use the '[KR](?!P)' as the peptide pattern for Trypsin protease. The example in the documentation should read as follows:
