Since SUSE is no longer produced, and is being called openSUSE, is MATLAB supported on openSUSE operating systems?

MathWorks supports commercial SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) 11.3 and higher, not openSUSE 11.3 and higher. A current release of openSUSE should work just as well, but MathWorks is in a limited position to provide support for Linux distributions which we haven't fully qualified.

MathWorks does not support specific Linux distributions. Support for Linux is based on specific kernel and glibc versions. If the linux distribution falls into these system requirements, then MATLAB should operate properly.
