Why does connecting to the Real Time Windows Target trip my Windows Power settings?
In Windows 98, there are power savings options for my monitor and hard drive, as well as a System Standby option. Sometimes, connecting to the Real-Time Windows Target and then running the execution trips some of these power savings options on. For example, the monitor will shut down until mouse movement is detected, then a second later the computer freezes up completely, requiring a reboot. This problem also occurs if the screen saver option is turned on. I suspect that the hard drive power saving option also causes problems.
