Why do I see an error using Simscape Multibody Link about: PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR (Message from foreign program: yyyy)?
The full error comes up in the CAD program Creo with the following:
"Foreign program "Simscape Multibody Link" failed to initialize: error PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR
Message from foreign program: "yyyy""

This was caused by some typos in the configuration file.
This time the line in file 'protk.dat':
text_dir file C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2019a\toolbox\physmod\smlink\cad_systems\proe\text
was wrong, it was resolved by replacing
test_dir file" with test_dir.
If you checked the file content and everything seems right, but the error comes up, then please create a Technical Support case.
