MATLAB: Do I receive different simulation results when I simulate the model containing ‘Asynchronous Machine’ block in SimPowerSystems 4.6 (R2008a) and SimPowerSystems 5.0 (R2008b)

I have designed a model for analyzing the performance of the 'Asynchronous Machine' block using SimPowerSystems 4.6 (R2008a) and have checked the 'Simulate Saturation' option under the 'Parameters' tab. When I run the same model in SimPowerSystems 5.0 (R2008b), I receive different results.
I am monitoring the current, speed and torque of the 'Asynchronous Machine' block. I observed that speed varies very significantly between SimPowerSystems 4.6 (R2008a) and SimPowerSystems 5.0 (R2008b).

The differences in the simulation results are observed because the saturation characteristics of the 'Asynchronous Machine' block were improved by modifying the calculations associated with it in SimPowerSystems 5.0 (R2008b). However, unselecting the 'Simulate Saturation' checkbox under the 'Parameters' tab of the 'Asynchronous Machine' block will generate the same simulation results in both the releases of SimPowerSystems.
