MATLAB: Do I receive an error when I try to use C-. to open a MATLAB file in xEmacs with MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a)

I have followed the directions in your documentation for integrating xEmacs and MATLAB but now when I try to find the source for a MATLAB file (e.g. hmmgenerate) using C-. in the MATLAB menu for Xemacs, I get a "max-lisp-eval-depth" error.

The matlab.el file is resource that is distributed with MATLAB for your convenience but not supported by MathWorks.
You can get the latest information, including links to download matlab.el, on MATLAB and Emacs integration from the sourceforge project site:
