MATLAB: Do I receive an error stating that ‘D’ is not recognized as an internal or external command

I have been trying to protect a reference model, but it always fail with the error mentioned in the following screenshot.
I tried the examples given by MathWorks for doing the same and it all works well.
The referenced model I am trying to protect is very simple and has only a gain block. Please help me with the issue.

Looking at the screenshot, it appears to be that the location where the referenced model exist has an '&' character in the path. Renaming the directory having special characters may help in solving the issue.
