MATLAB: Dictionaries of Hashtables in MATLAB

Hi all,

Is there a way to create a hash table or dictionary in MATLAB such that I can retrieve a set of values based on a key?

I also need to append more entries to the end of the list, given a key. I tried importing a hashtable from java.util.Hashtable, but the "add" method overwrites the current entries if a key already exists…

Hopefully this example helps to explain. You can obviously skip over the creating bit as you already have a table and presumably you just want to get all of the values out of it.

% create example Java hashtable and add some key/value pairs
h = java.util.Hashtable;
h.put('Name', 'John');
h.put('Country', 'UK');
% retrieve the value for a specific key
h.get('Name');
% retrieve all key names
allKeys = arrayfun(@char, h.keySet.toArray, 'UniformOutput', false);
% retrieve all key values
allValues = cellfun(@(x) h.get(x), allKeys, 'UniformOutput', false);

MATLAB: How to add an authorization header with a space in the value, to an http request

Sorry for the delay, but yes I had found it a bit later. There is actually a way to add an arbitrary header, using this:

header = matlab.net.http.field.GenericField("Authorization", "api-key aznfkjndjnsn=");
r = matlab.net.http.RequestMessage('post', header, matlab.net.http.MessageBody(my_body));

This way it worked, it added an "Authorization" header without caring about the space.
