MATLAB: Derivate of x y points

hello everyone.

i have two rows: x and y points, generated by experimental tests.

this data means x,y positions. i would like to obtain velocity and so i need to derivate these points.

is this somehow possible?

Read about subs, double, vpa.

   syms x y
   f(x,y) = x*sin(y);
   d2fdxdy = diff(diff(f,x),y); % = cos(y)

Another way is:

   syms x y
   diff(x*sin(x*y),x,y);  % = 2*x*cos(x*y)-x^2*y*sin(x*y)
