MATLAB: Delete repeated times from matrix

remove duplicates unique

Hello! I have a matrix of times and irradiance values. It seems that some of the times (itime) must be duplicates.

length(unique(itime)) = 44850

length(itime) = 44858

I would like to find those 8 times that are not unique and remove the repeated times and the corresponding irradiance value (irrad). I don't want to keep any time that is repeated since there is no way to determine the correct irradiance value for the timestamp. I've attached the mat file with itime and irrad if that helps.

corresponding_irrad = irrad(Aidx);

You can use the repelem function as follows:

repelem(angvel,10)

to get each value repeated ten times .

If instead you wanted the array repeated ten times end on end then you can use repmat instead:

repmat(angvel,10,1)

Ai = ismember(A,out1(:,1));                             % Return Logical Index Of Occurrences > 1
Anew = A .* Ai;                                         % Matrix With ‘Single-Occurrence’ Elements Eliminated

The ‘Anew’ matrix has 0 values for the elements that are not repeated, those that are repeated appear in their expected locations.

If you only want the values of the numbers that aare repeated, and the number of repeats, those are contained in the ‘out1’ matrix.
