Thank you for your response sir. Actually I have an RGB endoscope image(720*1280). I have extracted the wavelength correponding to the pixel intensity values . Its an 1*1280 matrix of values from 400 nm to 700 nm. Now I need to filter each wavelength components or to view the image at different wavelength. It May be something like Spectral Imaging. Can you please help me out.

You will need spectrumRGB() function available in this package: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/7021-spectral-and-xyz-color-functions?focused=5172034&tab=function to convert wavelength to RGB values. Download it and place it in MATLAB path, then run the following code

rgbValues = spectrumRGB(400:0.2:650); % go from 400 to 650 nm wavelength
image = repmat(rgbValues, 200, 1, 1); % 200 is the height of image in pixel
imshow(image)

I believe by band intensity you mean to separate R,G,B components from the image and get individual intensities. To do that, get individual 2-D matrices from the 3-D matrix. So, if 'img' is a variable containing the color image data.

R = img(:,:,1);
G = img(:,:,2);
B = img(:,:,3);
