Hello All, I have to create a text report file of my results, but i have made text file with instructions, this has to be merged or appended during the report generation i have to make user defined function using which i can use it for my further application and project Thanks in Advance

MATLAB: To read a text file using matlab

Use fopen to open the file and then use fscanf or fgetl to read in the content. You can also use fread. For example, the following code reads the first line of the text.

fid = fopen(v,'r');
tline = fgetl(fid);
fclose(fid)

Just to remember close the file using fclose afterwards.
