MATLAB: Copyfile with variable as destination

I am trying to copy a folder (A) in a directory, to the same directory with a variable as a name, but Matlab doesn't recognize the variable

Example:

saveName = 1234_fMRI

copyfile = *fMR* saveName

This creates a new folder in the directory called "saveName" where it needs to be a folder called 1234_fMRI

saveName = '1234_fMRI'
copyfile('*fMR*', saveName)

dir is a function that takes a look in a determined folder (and subfolder if you command).

cd without arguments is your actual location

dir(cd) would bring you all the files in your actual location.

files = dir(cd);

Will return a struct with name of the file, folder,a boolean value about if it is a folder or not, and its modification date.
