i would like use Continuous-Time VCO block in simulink but i dont found it in the simulink library browser.

Which toolbox is requiered to use it?

i also want to try the simulink commfreqsyn and i also don't find it

Yes, there are, but you need the Communications Blockset, see for example the Phase-Lock Loop and Continuous-Time VCO or Discrete-Time VCO blocks.

This is for the current release (R2010b) however and it sounds like you are using R2007b. Looking at the Release Notes, it looks as if those blocks were already present in R2007b, but it might be worth double-checking, or upgrading to the current release if you can.

MATLAB: Discrete Continuous Simulink Question

There is no problem using continuous and discrete blocks in simulink. If for example the output y(t) of a continuous system is the input u[n] of discrete system:

u[n] is the the signal y(t) taken at each sample time ts.
