I have a vector (A) of 1×43000 and i want to compute the standard deviation at every point. i want to get a standard deviation matrix of the same size so i can plot them together

ymean = mean(y);
ystddev = std(y);
yhi = ymean+ystdev;
ylo = ymean-ystdev;
xrange = [0 60]; % or whatever you want
plot(xrange, [ymean ymean],xrange,[ylo ylo], xrange, [yhi yhi])

Determining the position of each standard deviation and plotting is left as a homework exercise.

Though possibly you want

numdev = floor((mean(S,2)-min(S,[],2))./std(S,[],2));
