MATLAB: Compatibility of R2015b on windows server 2016

Hi!

I was wondering if R2015b is compatible on windows server 2016 and to what level it has been verified? We are running into some issues and wanted to know if perhaps it is connected with that.

According to the previous release system requirements page, Windows Server 2016 is not listed as a supported operating systems for release R2015b. Release R2016b is the first listing it as a supported OS. According to the current release system requirements page, it remains supported for release R2019a.

Your header file is c++ code and thunk files are c there is no way this could have worked in 64 bit MATLAB. Was your previous MATLAB 32 bit? If so then you need to rebuild all libraries for 64 bit and fix the header so it will compile as c code. That usually evolves wrapping extern "C" { with an ifdef:

 extern "C" {
 #endif
... /* extern c code */
 #ifdef __cplusplus
 }
 #endif

MATLAB: Matlab 2018b or 2019a is installable on window 7 or not

The System Requirements platform roadmap shows that releases R2018b and R2019a are supported on Windows 7 SP1.

Stepping through the Previous Releases system requirements accessible from that page it looks like release R2012b was the last supporting Windows 7 without SP1.
