MATLAB: Commands for exporting files to be stored into SD card or any external memory

hi
i made some changes in an image and then used imwrite(im,'new.bmp') to create the new modified image, now i have to write the commands that send that image from the directory file to SD card inserted in my laptop, how can i do that??

SD cards are just mounted filesystems. You find the name (e.g., drive letter) and you construct a full path to the destination location and you either imwrite() there directory or you copyfile()
   foodir = fullfile('E:', 'saved_images', 'yankle');
   foofile = fullfile(foodir, 'out17.jpg');
   copyfile('out17.jpg', foofile);
