MATLAB: Code to build massive cell array of TIFFs

First off, I have read many forums on here, and understand that using dynamically named variables is a terrible idea, which is why I'm trying to build a cell array to manipulate the individual variables. I am trying to take approximately 600 tiff images ordered based on time taken from a microSD card and put them into a cell array (still in order) so that I can call them in my many for loops and manipulate the data as needed. I would rather not handjam all of these images into a cell array, as I may need to do this several different times, and honestly I'm just curious if there is an easier way to plug them into the array.

No, there is no easier way. Because you do not show us, how you do it, my opinion is based on guessing only. But collecting a list of images in a cell array sounds efficient, clear and neat. It does not even matter if you mean the names of the files or the contents, because both is fine.

Easy, given any number of arrays in a cell array C. You could use a loop like this, although it is inefficient because the output array is not preallocated:

C = {[1,2],[3,4],...} % cell array of arrays.
A = C{1};
for k = 2:numel(C)
    A = [A;C{k}];
end

Simpler and more efficient would be to concatenate them all at once, without a loop, e.g.:

A = vertcat(C{:})

Whatever you do, do NOT try to access variable names dynamically in a loop! Read this to know why:

Using an array (e.g. a cell array) and indexing is much simpler, neater, much more efficient, less buggy, and easier to debug.

I understand that you want to only retain those circles which have more than 70% of pixels that are white. One of the possible ways is to go through each circle and count the number of white pixels in the circle. You can use inpolygon for checking whether a query point lies in the polygon or not. You can use polyshape to create a polygon for each circle using centre and radius.
