MATLAB: Can simscape battery model (i.e. the equivalent circuit model) be integrated to simulink model

Question

Is it possible to connect (positive and negatve terminals) simscape battery model to a simulink specialized component such as series RLC branch? Attaching screenshot for your reference?

I have the battery model in simscape, but it has to integrated to a power system model in simulink.

Yes, they can be be connected. Please see this. That being said, it best to stick to either Simscape or SimPowerSystems.
