MATLAB: Can not use PID tuner in simulink

Control System Toolboxsimulink

When I press the tune bottom in simulink PID controller , it always show "PID tuning tool requires a Simulink Control Design license,but license checkout failed".

Do I still need to install another toolboxes?

my toolboxes list:

Control System Toolbox

Simscape

Simscape Eletrical

Symbolic Math Toolbox

System Identification Toolbox

(1) Run this:

flag=license('checkout','Simulink_Control_Design')
license('inuse')

(2) To check if you have "Simulink Control Design" toolbox installed, run "ver slcontrol"

MATLAB: PID self Tuner

PID Tuner works by linearizing your nonlinear Simulink model. If the model linearizes to zero, the PID Tuner would give you the message you saw.

As you have already determined yourself, the linearization issue results from this MATLAB Function block that behaves differently depending on the value of some parameter you have in your model.

What you can do is specify the linearization behavior for this block that would make sense by using this functionality.
