MATLAB: Can not use categorical string values to generate strings for title, Error: ‘getVars’ for input arguments of type ‘categorical’

Hi All,
I have a list of categorical strings generated with table called "Sites". Now I would like to use these strings in a for loop to generate a titles and save figures.
tit=Sites(i)
title ([tit], 'fontsize', 14);
savefig(['Figures/Fig_',tit, '.fig'])
However I got the following error:
Undefined function 'getVars' for input arguments of type 'categorical'.
I even tried table2cell, still did not work. Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

Use char to convert to character string...
