MATLAB: Can I open the current directory outside MATLAB by right-clicking in it in MATLAB 7.4 (R2007a)

currentdesktopdirectoryMATLABopenoutside

In the MATLAB desktop, in the current directory pane, one can right-click on a file or a folder and select 'Open Outside MATLAB'. This opens that folder outside MATLAB.
It would be nice if I could do the same thing for the current directory as well. For e.g. if I right-click on some empty region in the current directory and open it outside MATLAB.

Tha ability to open the current directory outside MATLAB by right clicking is not available.
As a workaround, you can click on the 'Go up one level' button and then right-click on the required folder and select 'Open outside MATLAB' option.
