In the simscape domain for the thermal liquid tool, it is stated that the maximum temperature is 373K. However, this is quite low for most applications. In my case I am trying to model a solar collector with an oil tank heat storage and it is certainly below the requirements for the model. Would the model with Simscape Thermal Liquid work if the liquid goes to temperaturas over 373k? How could I make it work if not?
I now that with Simscape fluids I might be able to go to higher temperaturas but I would need to manipulate the source code of certain elements to create new blocks and I do not know if I can do that in Simscape Fluids since the source code does not appear when I go into the description of a block. Help on the differences between Simscape Fluids and Simscape for creating new blocks and how to do it in Simscape Fluids would also be appreciated.
