Can DE0-Nano-SoC Board from terasic be used with HDL Coder FIL connected using ethernet? The ethernet PHY is connected on HPS part of the FPGA and the FPGA used on board is Altera Cyclone® V SE 5CSEMA4U23C6N. Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi Andreas,
I understand that you would like to communicate to the board via an Ethernet Shield, and MATLAB Support Package is not giving this option. The solution would be to download and install the Simulink Support Package. Upon successful installation, in the Simulink Library Browser, you would see blocks corresponding to communication between MATLAB and Arduino via Ethernet Shield in the form of TCP/IP, UPD, or ThingSpeak. The attached image show where the blocks would be found.

Once you have designed and tested your algorithm in Simulink, you can use Simulink HDL Coder to convert your Simulink model into either Verilog or VHDL. You will even be able to incorporate your existing Verilog code into your Simulink simulation using EDA Simulator Link.
