MATLAB: Are settings saved incorrectly when I import a filter from FDATool to SPTool using the Filter Design Toolbox 3.1 (R14SP1) and the Signal Processing Toolbox 6.2.1 (R14SP1)

I am creating a lowpass Butterworth filter using FDATool. I export the filter to the workspace, open SPTool, and import the filter. When I view the filter, the frequency axis for the magnitude response is incorrect. This seems to be due to the fact that some of the filter specifications have not been imported.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
This is expected behavior in the Signal Processing Toolbox 6.2.1 (R14SP1) in the way that filters are imported into SPTool from FDATool. This is due to the fact that the Fs value is set to 2 by default when a filter is exported from FDATool to SPTool.
