MATLAB: Are File Installation Keys operating system specific
I need to install my MATLAB license on a different operating system than I usually install it on. Can I use the same File Installation Key? Are File Installation Keys specific to a particular operating system?

File Installation Keys are not operating system specific. The same key will work on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
If you notice that one or more products do not appear in the installer on the operating system in question, please check to make sure the product in question is available for that operating system. A list of product availability by operating system is available at the following link:
It depends what your ‘medical image’ is. For most radiography (x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, etc.) images, they are inDICOM format and you would read the images with.dcm file extensions (also termedsuffixes) with thedicomread (link) function. If you want to save ‘slices’ of a computerized tomographic file as individual images, save them asuncompressed‘.jpg’ images, since that is what they are in theDICOM file.
