MATLAB: Am I unable to generate a new license file for the network license in the License Center

When using the "Get License File" option in the License Center I receive the following error:
ERROR: Get Activation Files Error
Computer attributes are missing or invalid. 
Information needed to identify your computer is missing or invalid.
How can I obtain the updated license codes for my network license?

This bug has been fixed in Release 2010a (R2010a). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
This error may occur if your license was activated for a previous release and you are attempting to obtain the passcodes for a newer release. As a workaround, you can reactivate the license for the same Host ID. This should generate a new license file. To do so, access the Activation and Installation tab of the license. Instead of using the "Get License File" button, use the Activate button instead. Provide the same Host ID as was used for the original activation. Once complete, the new license file and File Installation Key will be generated.
Once you have re-activated, the "Get License File" button should allow you to obtain the passcodes.
