MATLAB: Am I unable to download the MATLAB installation files on Safari

I am attempting to download the installation files for MATLAB in Safari. When I select the files labeled "Common", Safari does not prompt me to save the files, it opens a text window and crashes. I would like to know how to download the "Common" files.

This issue seems to be a bug with the way manual downloads are processed with Safari. Our developers have been made aware of this issue.
As a workaround try the download agent or use a different browser to download the installation files.
