MATLAB: Am I getting a license error when trying to launch the Simulink Onramp from the web browser

I am trying to launch the Simulink Onramp from the MathWorks website. When I click "Launch the Course", I am prompted to link a license to my MathWorks account. I already have a license – why am I receiving this message and how can I access the onramp?

The Simulink Onramp, Stateflow Onramp, and Control Design Onramp with Simulink all require Simulink Online in order to run in your browser.  Simulink Online is currently available with the following licenses:
  • Campus-Wide License
  • MATLAB and Simulink Student Suite
  • MATLAB Student
  • Standard Individual
  • Academic Individual
  • Home Use
If you do not have one of these licenses (e.g., you have a Concurrent or Enterprise license), then you do not have access to Simulink Online, and therefore the Simulink Onramp, Stateflow Onramp, and Control Design Onramp with Simulink are not available online.
To access these onramps, you will need to launch them from your desktop installation of MATLAB:
  1. Launch MATLAB and open Simulink
  2. Launch the onramp from the Simulink Start Page
The Simulink Onramp and Stateflow Onramp are available in R2019b or later.  The Control Design Onramp with Simulink is available in R2020b or later.
If you are using an earlier version that does not include the onramp you would like to use, you can download the latest version of MATLAB here.
