MATLAB: After an offline instalation, how can run matlab offline

MATLABrun offline

I need to use the offline matlab because I will be very far from the continent in an expedition and I need to run the applications with data that comes from the bottom of the sea. My institution has the concurrent license and I need to know how to set up an offline installation for a single device.

Generally speaking there are three approaches for this:
  1. For periods of up to 30 days, you can "borrow" a license; see https://www.mathworks.com/help/install/license/borrow-licenses.html
  2. In theory if you have enough seats of a concurrent license, Mathworks might be willing to section some off to a different license server -- that is, although it would technically remain a concurrent license, you would take your own license server with you. Concurrent licenses do not actually require communications with the Internet as a whole, only communications with their license server.
  3. Otherwise you need to obtain a standalone license. If you are going to be out of touch for more than 30 days, you should probably contact Mathworks Sales for your options. SNU (Standalone Named User) licenses do not require communications with the Internet or a license server.
