MATLAB: About the minimum width of GUI

I get a problem in making a small GUI, that is: A GUI is made and the width is set to 100 pixels, but it auto change it to 115 pixels. I am wondering why? If the width must be lager than a value (eg. 115 for my computer), can every computer screen is the same value? Thank you very much!

I think this has more to do with your window manager (something hidden from you in Microsoft Windows). On my Linux box (KDE/KWin) I can get down to 18 pixels wide.

This is not a valid definition of the ResizeFcn:

'ResizeFcn',@ResizeFcn',@cbFigResize,   ?!

You can use this to limit the figure size:

jFrame = get(handle(gcf), 'JavaFrame');
try
  jProx = jFrame.fFigureClient.getWindow();
catch
  jProx = jFrame.fHG1Client.getWindow(); 
end
jProx.setMinimumSize(java.awt.Dimension(600, 560));

This happens under Window (at least Windows 7), when you set the text size to a custome value:

 Control Panels -> Display -> Set custom text size (DPI)
 Choose e.g. 113%

Then the size of the window border is scaled also and does not have an integer pixel size.

A solution is almost trivial, after it is found.
