I had 2 versions of pandas (22 and 23) in my Anaconda environment for Python 3.6. One of the pandas looks like it was installed through Python 2.7 pip. Basically, I am unable to import pandas at all into my code. It has been recommended that I completely uninstall and reinstall Anaconda. This seems like overkill, but I am going to try it. Nothing I attempted using conda or the Anaconda environment console seemed to work. My question is, how do I safely uninstall and reinstall Anaconda without messing up my ArcGIS Pro environment or my Python 3.6 (do I need to uninstall and reinstall that too?!) Help!

Python/ArcPy for ArcGIS Pro 1.3 is now installed in

So your IDE needs to be pointed at that environment to pick up the link to arcpy.
In Visual Studio open the Python Environments window, click "+ Custom..." and select "Configure".
Give the new environment a name e.g. Python 64-bit 3.5 ArcPy and populate the path fields with the path above, specifying the relevant file in that path for each field.

I use both Macos Kyngchaos QGIS and Anaconda Python on my Mac with success.
To do this, you must set your Anaconda Python path in your QGIS variables environment.
Go to QGIS > Preferences > System
In the environment Set PYTHONPATH as a new variable and add /Applications/anaconda2/bin as a value. Set it to overwrite. Restart QGIS, you'll see the new PYTHONPATH variable loaded in the read only section above.
In Anaconda, what I did, you can even create a QGIS specific Python environment with all the necessary libraries inside. You won't need at all to add it to your Macos system paths, unless you are needing it for other applications. But in QGIS you'll have to input /Applications/anaconda2/envs/QGIS/bin instead, as the PYTHONPATH variable.
Then, when you install a new QGIS extension, if a python library is missing for this extension to work properly, just add it to your QGIS Anaconda installation. You won't get any errors anymore.

From command prompt run
conda uninstall pandas. Make sure you're in the correct version by navigating to Anaconda 3.6 or 2.7 folder and Shift + Right Click to open command prompt or powershell for whichever version of windows you have.
