[GIS] pgrouting 2.0 package for postgresql 9.3

I'm trying to install pgrouting 2.0 on a postgresql 9.3 database (with postgis 2.1).
Are there any packages on ubuntu 12.04 or do I have to install from source?
Is postgres 9.3 supported at all in this configuration?

The packages in this PPA only support the default PostgreSQL version of each Ubuntu release, which is since Ubuntu 12.04 PostgreSQL 9.1.

PostgreSQL 9.3 was just released recently, so you need to try yourself if pgRouting works or not. But I don't think there should be a problem. You need to compile though.

I've not tried it but try changing your apt-get to

apt-get install binutils gdal-bin libproj-dev postgresql-9.1-postgis postgresql-server-dev-9.1 python-psycopg2 python-setuptools

should do the trick. As its just the client its backwards compatible with older versions of postgresql.

postgresql-8.4-postgis is only available on lucid (10.04) the future releases (11.04) onwards use postgresql-9.1-postgis

By default, you don't have PostGIS 2.0 but 1.5 (see http://packages.ubuntu.com/fr/precise/postgresql-9.1-postgis)

By doing CREATE EXTENSION postgis; you're trying to initialize from PostgreSQL with the new loading mechanism a PostGIS version (1.5) that do not support it and in this case, you will need to follow the PostGIS 1.5 official doc

If you need 2.0, follow various instructions already available in previous gis.stack.exchange.com answers e.g Install PostGIS on Ubuntu 12.04 or Can POSTGIS 2.0 be install with POSTGRES 9.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 OS at the moment?

Edit due to changes in question:

When I look in the repository (http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ precise-pgdg main), I see you can get different PostGIS versions for different PostgreSQL versions, so sudo apt-get install postgis is not enough clear for the package manager

Did you try?

sudo apt-get install postgresql-9.1-postgis-2.0
