[GIS] How load data into file geodatabase tables with relationship classes to non simple data

Further to my earlier question (Loading data into file geodatabase without rebuilding relationship classes manually?), is there any way to load data into GDB tables with relationship classes to composite data as geometric network without making them simple first ?

I have a file geodatabase with few M-N composite relationships classes that contain geometric network. Every few weeks or month I need to load new data into GDB tables; for this I need to delete the relationship classes delete the geometric network, and than load the data using The Simple Data Loader wizard and then rebuild the relationship classes and rebuild the geometric network. when I'm trying this without deleting first I keep getting error message:

Cannot load into non simple data

Try copy and paste. It should work better than the simple data loader. The simple data loader is only for "simple" data. Feature classes and tables.

Geometric networks are considered complex and most likely won't load with the simple data loader. That error is expected.

This article is from 9.3.1 but explains the problem. Use the object loader not the simple data loader.

It's very hard to tell without seeing the 'equipment.dbf' file, but my guess is that there is something about the data file that Arc doesn't like. I wonder if there is something about the DBF schema that is unusual/unexpected (since it is failing at the schema test). In addition to Kirk's question, have a look at:

Do the field names conform to a strict interpretation of the dbf spec (no commas or other 'odd' characters and not longer than about 12 characters)?
Does this file open with Excel? If so, then the file itself is probably not corrupt. If no, your file is corrupt in some way.
Can you load the file into the table of contents? If 'yes' to '2' but 'no' to '3', then the file contains some non-conformance but isn't corrupt.
Do you get the same problem if you try using the ArcCatalog Simple Loader (I would expect so).

Work-around suggestions: If you can't spot anything wrong with the dbf file, can you import it as XY data, convert to a shapefile and then use that (perhaps with a Union on your target file or through the loader)?

After turning debug on the problem became clear. [face palm]

ogr2ogr was encountering an error on every row it was adding to the PostgreSQL table it created. The error was caused because the numeric IDs are expressed as 14 digit whole numbers, which is why they are all formatted as double precision rather than integer. As ogr2ogr was creating tables on the fly and populating them it saw the whole numbers as integers, threw a COPY error, and then accepted it was double precision (I assume from the format information the file geodatabase keeps) and put the correct values in the table.

The problem was solved by setting up the table structure in PostgreSQL first and then using the -update, -append, and -nln flags. What had taken 46 minutes on my test table using the ogr2ogr command from my question took only 5 seconds after adding those flags as no errors occurred while loading the rows.

Setting up each table in PostgreSQL prior to loading the data will be tedious (there are 155 tables in the file geodatabases), but as this is an annual task I can either dump/load the schema structure each year or update and rerun the table building SQL. It is a fair amount of upfront work, but loading the data each subsequent year will be significantly faster than the first attempt.

The ogr2ogr command format is now:

ogr2ogr -progress -update -append -f "PostgreSQL" PG:"host=hostip user=username dbname=databasename password=userpassword" "C:\pathTo\GDBName.gdb" -nln schema.existingtable "gdbtablename" --config PG_USE_COPY YES
