[Tex/LaTex] way to make pdfpages adhere to the page offset set by geometry

I'm trying to include some pdf documents at the end of my document using pdfpages. My document has a binding offset as defined using the geometry package but pdfpages doesn't recognise it. I've looked through the package options for pdfpages but can't see anything.

Not only, as Werner suggests, there's the offset= option, but options to be used throughout can be specified globally via \includepdfset

\includepdfset{offset=0.7cm 0cm}

where instead of 0.7cm there should be the amount of your binding correction. In twoside mode, this refers to a shift towards the outer margin, while in oneside mode it's always a shift to the right.

Insert that command just after loading pdfpages.

There's a conflict between Sweave and pdfpages. Try this.

Note this is a .Rnw file (Sweave file) which is being processed into tex via a call like this from R: Sweave("foo.Rnw"). So, it's a specific Sweave issue. Anyhow, change your \usepackage call for Sweave in your .Rnw file to the following. Note the addition of [nogin]

\usepackage[nogin]{Sweave}
\usepackage{pdfpages}

\begin{document}

\newpage

\includepdf[fitpaper=true, pages=-]{test.pdf}

\end{document}

What's going on.. So By default, Sweave.sty sets the width of all included graphics to: \setkeys{Gin}{width=0.8\textwidth}, and it is treating the inserted pdf pages as graphics and setting the size according to the above. You need to override this. If you do this in the \usepackage call, you do this for all graphics. If you don't want that, then you can use this (or something similar)

\setkeys{Gin}{width=8.5in}  #um not positive on that syntax

\includepdf[fitpaper=true, pages=-]{test.pdf}

\setkeys{Gin}{width=0.8\textwidth}

About the tilde: Apparently the ~ is taken in its usually meaning, not as literal ~. I get a Package pdfpages Error: Cannot find file `test\nobreakspace {}it' error for a test~it file. Taking the filename verbatim should help. This can be done by \Verbdef from the newverbs package:

\usepackage{newverbs}

% ...

\Verbdef\filename{C:/Users/MYUSER~1/AppData/Local/Temp/mypdfpdf.pdf}
\includepdf[pages=-]{\filename}

It is also possible to write \string~ instead of ~ every time. You shouldn't use math symbols to "escape" these characters in filenames. Typesetting and file reading are two completely different things.

Finally you can use the e-TeX primitive \detokenize{...} to sanitize the file name:

\includepdf[pages=-]{\detokenize{C:/Users/MYUSER~1/AppData/Local/Temp/mypdfpdf.pdf}}

To allow spaces you need to wrap the filename in " ". At best you should avoid any spaces, tildes or any other special characters in filenames.
